Over the last year, I've been trying to add an element of storytelling to my pictures. Not so much as an ongoing narrative, but more like every photo is a glimpse into a moment that "could" be part of something more significant. This idea is something I want to work and expand on. It brings a new dimension to how I see the world. It's a new area of development for my vision or my style.
Recently I've decided to take these ideas put them into a video. I'm not sure where I'm going with it or how I want to pursue it, but all I know is I enjoy it. I like the idea of being able to tell a more concise "story" or "idea" or even a "visual essay." I also love the idea of adding movement and world building to these vignettes.
This film is my first attempt. Its labeled Wondering Light, because a year ago I thought I would try "vlogging"... it turns out it's not entirely for me, but I still like the name.
