After having so much fun with the frost, the next natural step was to head up into the mountains to find some snow. Fortunately, we didn't have to look too hard or for too long. We first stopped by a familiar waterfall that we had to skip a few trips back due to rain, but had clear skies today. Ridley led us on an expedition to see what was on the other side of the rather large culvert. Though there wasn't much to see, the discovery was in the culvert itself by the sounds the rocks made when we threw them inside letting them bounce around on the walls.
When we made it up to the snow, we were blessed with a break in the clouds as the sun shown down on us warming our bones as we played. Ridley couldn't get enough of it; he would run back and forth kicking the snow the whole time. He found a small hill and went up and down more times than I could count. At one point he slipped and fell as I was taking pictures, and as you can see from the photo, he didn't mind at all!
